2017-04-19 Upcoming version 9.0
As Hipparchus 1.1 has been released recently, we are working on the
next release for Orekit. The release date is not yet planned, but we
already decided it will be a major release: version 9.0.
The following new features and changes will be included in this
version:
- Transition from Hipparchus v1.0 to v1.1 (published some weeks ago)
- Addition of Taylor’s algebra on nearly all propagators, to allow
high order uncertainties propagation and to speed-up Monte-Carlo simulations
- CCDS format ephemeris generation
- Improvement of Orbit Determination (in term of accuracy and speed when
several thousands of measurements are processed)
- Turn-Around measurements
- Manoeuver estimation
- Preservation of time-derivatives for all kind of orbits
- ITRF 2014 support
- Improvement of performances on several conversions
- JB2008 atmospheric model
- NRLMSISE-00 atmospheric model
